LSUA offers appropriate and reasonable supportive measures to all parties upon notice of alleged sexual misconduct, discrimination, or retaliation.
Supportive measures are non-punitive individualized services offered as appropriate and reasonably available and without fee or charge to the parties to restore and preserve participation in the University’s programs or activities.
The Title IX Coordinator will make supportive measures available to the parties upon receiving notice or a complaint. The Title IX Coordinator will work with the complainant to ensure that their wishes are taken into account with respect to the supportive measures.
The University will maintain the privacy of the supportive measures, provided that privacy does not impair the University’s ability to implement the measures. The measures will be implemented in a way that does not unreasonably burden either party.
Please note, that complainants can receive supportive measures without submitting a formal complaint.
